 Description:  Operation Amos is a Chinese urban based map where Chinese and American forces fight over a town with air and ground support.

The map works for conquest 16,32,64 players. Notably, on the 32 player version and 16 player versions capturing bases will create additional artillery positions.

The map is named after the coolest cool guy, in the magazine industry; "Amos"

The map supports bots. They are hardy, and will easily navigate the map. The bot map is exactly alike the 64 player map. If you wish to increase the number of bots edit the file;
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\bf2\AI\AIDefault.ai
Bot support was added by Clivewill of the Allied Intent mod and as far as I am concerned he is the best navmesher in the universe.

 Description:  here's v1.0 of El Alamein which was created as a tribute to the classic BF1942 map by master-mapper BDFS_Alpha from Battlefield Dogs. this map is BIG and so like Gazala is not for the meek of RAM, or the frail of heart.
it features para-spawns over both bases as a safeguard if they get captured and a large selection of vehicles, in a beautiful late-afternoon desert atmosphere. many thanks to BDFS_Alpha for allowing me to navmesh and prepare the map for a.i.

 Description:  Gulf of Oman - the US carrier has been navmeshed at the rear half, but although bots can go from the deck to the gallery below, they can't do the reverse. it's not been a problem with 30 bots or less, but i don't know how it will go with more - you will sooner or later get some swimming from ship to shore. it was either mesh it, or stick with the old pre-navmesh style of spawning them directly into the vehicles, and i'm expecting a bit of curry from someone no matter what way i chose, so without any further ado, let the curry commence...

 Description:  This is a small infantry/city map, with a few jeeps for each side. the map takes place at a nice quiet city in the mountains of china, which also happens to be the last chines held city in the area. each team has a base in the mountains, the chines base is capable, and the US's is noncapable. this is my first, completed map, but i think it came out alright for a first map.

 Description:  Mass Destruction - here's one map that did NOT want to get navmeshed. after about 6 attempts of different stuff to the vehicle navmesh to actually show, i then had to hand-build the entire interior of the chemical plant (sort of pointless not having it, given the maps name) - it looks simple enough in the pic, but it was a pain in the bum to make. the whole thing is done including the walkways around the vats, so you're not safe anywhere in there.

 Description:  here's another 64-sized navmesh for midnight sun (navmesh, GPO's and statics only, sorry)

it has a larger area and boat clusters, just in case someone wanted to try a seaborne assault variant or some such. it also brings the northern-most bridge into play. guardrails now have the correct holes cut out for them. there were two truck wrecks on bridges, after much stuffing around i removed these trucks; there was no way a bot could get a tank through there, he'd just dump it and let the traffic pile up behind him.

i reset 4 cp's to neutral, so each army holds only one base at the start. also, i swapped the xp2 vehicles for vanilla bf2 ones as i was getting a nasty ctd from one of them (i suspect the muscle car, but not 100% sure) - it will only take a few seconds for you to swap them back

 Description:  Night Flight - looks like being the last SF map i'm going to do, seeing as Iron Gator is as difficult to mesh as it is unattractive (to me). bots can't enter the Control Tower, so i moved the flag to the outside, but they can get almost everywhere else. the Airport Entrance CP is cappable, so think fast and move faster... apologies for the lack of screenshots; i'm having issues with the 1.2 patch at the moment

 Description:  This Mappack includes v2 of Operation Joanne (a few little necessary tweaks!) and Operation Joanne Night (i always get sidetracked when in the editor...), which has weather enabled.

The installer automatically places the files in the Mods\NAW directory, so to play SP (until v4 anyway - soon, i promise) just copy and paste the 2 maps into Vanilla BF2.

 Description:  Here's a navmesh and gpo's/sa's for Op Road Rage SP 64 beta v1. the mesh is not perfect, but worked well enough for me without any ctd's etc. through several game rounds.

the mesh is bigger than the stock 64, to keep more open water so boats could be used in a later version. the GPO contains all the usual AF vehicle spawners, so if you have aiTemplate issues or similar with these vehicles they need to be swapped over or remmed out. there's a couple of AI aircraft spawners and spawnpoints in there but they have been remmed out. i added the Suburbia CP to open up the map a little.

 Description:  The USS Essex has been sent out to capture, or destroy 2 MEC offshore airstrips, and 1 offshore AA battery. You MUST gain control of the skies if you are to succeed.

This map is a test map to see how well the "unsupported" 1024x1024x4 map size will work. Since it seems to work quite well(and is very fun to play), i decided to release this map. have fun!

 Description:  Zatar Wetlands - i added an attack heli per side which may cheese some people off, but it was a shame to waste those lovely airfields and the US were at an advantage, now things are more equal. if enough people complain i'll pull them out again. the same US carrier issues apply as with Gulf of Oman 64 (so read that thread, i'm too tired to type any more)
